What we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
This page describes what we actually do today. It is written in plain language and is being reviewed by legal counsel before launch. If anything here conflicts with a signed agreement, the agreement governs.
What we collect
If you create an account: your email address, the spending profile you enter (approximate monthly amounts by category), the cards in your wallet, your autopilot setting, and any applications you submit through us. Without an account we hold none of that; your profile stays in the page address and your browser. Either way we receive the standard technical information your browser sends.
Why we collect it
To compute your ranking, to keep your profile and wallet available when you come back, and to pass a completed application to the issuer you chose. That is the whole purpose. We do not build a profile of you for anyone else.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not run advertising trackers or session recording on this site. Optional consents are off unless you turn them on, and refusing them never limits what you can do here.
Who else is involved
Google Analytics measures how the site is used, and only if you allow it. Until you do, it is loaded in a mode that sets no cookies and no identifiers, and if you decline it stays that way. We ask Google not to store your full IP address. Our site and database are hosted by Vercel and Supabase, and Resend delivers our email. These providers process data on our instructions and not for their own purposes.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, including closing your account and removing your profile and wallet. Residents of Quebec have additional rights under Law 25, including the right to withdraw consent without losing access to the comparison service. We record every consent you give or withdraw, with the date and the exact wording you were shown. Contact us and we will respond.
